Record traffic through Port of Dover

Over the past decade, since statistics have been logged, the majority of Saturdays from late July through end of August show over 20,000 vehicles passing through the Port. Robin Dodridge, Director of Corporate Operations said: “We are delighted that in spite of the economic climate, holidaymakers are still choosing to travel to and from the Continent via the Port of Dover. This is certainly reflected in the record numbers last weekend.  The Port’s staff did a great job to make sure everything worked smoothly for our customers”
