At present, Volker Paltzo (46) is the Chief Operating Officer of Eurofighter GmbH. Once he joins Atlas Elektronik, he will be responsible for Submarine Systems, Naval Weapons, Vessel Systems, Business Development and Marketing, as well as Services and Communications. After studying aircraft engineering he held several positions within the military defence business of EADS and DASA. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Atlas Elektronik, Dr. Stefan Zoller, stated: “I am firmly convinced that Volker Paltzo, thanks to his broad experience in the high-tech industry and in the defence business, will be able to continue the growth course of ATLAS together with Dieter Rottsieper. I would like to thank Kai Horten for his excellent work over the past five years, in which he played a major role in bringing ATLAS onto a course of economic prosperity. The effectively implemented internationalization of ATLAS is due chiefly to his efforts. I wish him every success for his new assignment.”
