Barry Barnes retires from Terex

Since joining the company in 1972, Barry has contributed greatly to the growth of Terex, in positions of increasing responsibility at Terex Cranes in the UK and Europe.

“Barry is well respected throughout the cranes industry, due to his in-depth knowledge of the company’s history and products, combined with his interpersonal skills and loyal commitment to customers,” said Kevin Bradley, President Terex Cranes. “Today I want to extend my gratitude to Barry. I am pleased that Barry has offered to make himself available over the next year to support our customers throughout Europe. Together with Frank Bardonaro, Vice President & Managing Director Global Sales, Terex Cranes,  the team will build upon Barry’s legacy.”

Commenting on his pending retirement, Barry Barnes said, “I have been in the crane industry for nearly 50 years, and it is a very interesting feeling and emotion, as I remember my very first day at work with the Company and many landmarks until this point.  I have been fortunate to represent superior products, and work with some  great people and colleagues. I still have a lot of ideas to improve the business and look forward to continue to support my colleagues and customers whenever I can be of help.”
