Record number of containers handled in Ashdod

During the unloading of K-Line ‘s container ship M/V Henry Hudson Bridge (with a total capacity of 9,040 TEU) the port handled a total of 1,507 containers in a six hour shift. During this shift, each of the six stevedore gangs that unloaded the vessel handled, on average, 40 TEU per hour per gantry crane, handling in total 240 TEU per hour.
