Record cargo traffic in 2011 for Montreal

In 2011, the total volume of cargo handled at the Port of Montreal reached 28.5 million tonnes, well past the record of 27.9 million tonnes set in 2008. Announced at the Annual General Meeting of the Montreal Port Authority (MPA), this result is a 10.1% increase over 2010.
