Liebherr to receive order for 1000th Mobile Harbour Crane

The 1000th Liebherr Mobile Harbour Crane, type LPS 550 was purchased by the Belgium based company SEA-invest, which has grown into one of the world’s largest terminal operators for dry bulk, fruit and liquid bulk. First UASC 13,000 TEU ship docks in Khorfakkan Container Terminal

Drop in throughput of biofuels at Rotterdam

In 2011, the throughput of biofuels in the Port of Rotterdam decreased by 6% compared to 2010, to 4.3 million tonnes. 1.8 million tonnes of biodiesel (+0.2 million tonnes) and 1.7 million tonnes of ethanol (-0.3 million tonnes) were transferred.
