OSV bulk-handling system's track record wins Cargotec orders for four more

MacGregor bulk handling systems are to be installed on four offshore support vessels (OSV) of various types under construction in Asia and Europe. In the last quarter of 2011 Cargotec secured contracts for MacGregor bulk handling systems for installation onboard four offshore support vessels (OSV) newbuildings belonging to two different owners; one in the UAE (two vessels) and the other in Spain (two vessels).

Konecranes received its fourth straddle carrier order from the German container terminal and logistics company EUROGATE

The latest order, booked in the second and fourth quarter of 2011, comprises 14 straddle carriers for container handling including maintenance services. When the machines from the latest order have been delivered, EUROGATE has altogether 55 Konecranes straddle carriers in their fleet at the Container Terminal Hamburg GmbH. The machines from the latest order will be delivered in second quarter of 2012. The value of the new order is not disclosed.
