As part of improvements to help Barbours Cut Container Terminal handle the expected increase in larger container ships, the Port Commission, at its Dec. 13 meeting, approved the use of the design-"bid"-build procurement method for rehabilitation of Wharves 1 and 2 at the terminal. Commissioners also authorized issuing a request for qualifications for the work.
