The Port of Virginia will partner with ZIM USA to enhance service at the Port of Richmond, on Virginia's James River. Ocean carrier ZIM is offering a Richmond bill of lading to the shipping public, both importers and exporters.

The government of Côte d'Ivoire is implementing large-scale investments to upgrade its two international harbours at Abidjan and San Pedro. Scheduled for completion in 2020 the project at Abidjan comprises the construction of a second container terminal, the expansion of a minerals terminal and the enlargement of the Vridi Canal.
