GlobalSim exhibits new crane simulator at TOC Europe

The K-Sim Lift crane simulators offer training
solutions for crane training around the world. The new Essential platform
provides a more economical entry into professional port crane simulators
compared to full mission simulators with an enclosed cabin and motion base.

The K-Sim
Essential base system features a single large display, a seat with real
controls and an instructor station – all in a modular system with a small
footprint. Their standard port crane simulation software like STS, RTG
and Mobile Harbour Cranes can all run on the K-Sim Essential platform.
The modular design even supports Reach Stackers and Empty Container
Handlers. The user can add displays to make the Essential comparable to
competitor’s full mission simulators.

“Changing
from STS controls to RTG controls takes only a matter of seconds”, says Clyde
Stauffer, Senior Vice President. “For years, our full mission simulators
have provided training with various functions such as single and twin-lift
container operations, chain-lifts, man-cage operations and over-height frames.
This high-end software also runs on the Essential platform. In fact, the
modular design of the Essential allows easy expansion as our customer’s
training requirements evolve.”
