The project consists a coal stacking and reclaiming system with a total stored volume of 160.000 tonnes. The supply includes a luffing slewing and travelling stacker with a 55 meter boom and a stacking capacity up to 3000 t/h. With a 57 meter railgauge the portal reclaimer is quite large and has a double-boom blade with a capacity of 1.500 t/h. The whole system will be constructed in accordance with the Chilean seismic rules and Class II Div I hazardous area rules. Final customer is ECL one of the Chilean Power Utility market leaders.
In additional news Bedeschi has also been awarded a contract by Turkish customer Sonmez Cimento to realise a clinker and cement export terminal, with a loading capacity up to 1,000 t/h. The integrated cement plant is being founded in Adana Yumurtal?k TAYSEP Free Zone (Turkey), on an advantageous area because of its closeness to land and sea transportation and raw material sources. The shiploader, slewing, luffing and travelling type, will be installed in this cement plant’s port terminal.
