APM Terminals Pier 400 sets new record with the largest container ship call ever at a U.S. Port

The CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin became the largest container ship ever to call a North American port when it docked at APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles on December 26th. At 399.2m (1,310 feet) in length, and 54m (177 feet) wide, the Ultra-Large Container Ship (ULCS) is 60 feet longer than the Empire State Building is tall, and 17 feet wider than a US football field; the ship's bridge is also as tall as a 20 story building.

Port of Santa Marta sets a further record in America in vehicle unloading

The Port of Santa Marta, through its affiliate company FAST TERMINAL established a new record in the American continent having accomplished unloading 632 vehicles in just one hour and fifty minutes, which represents a decrease of 232% compared to records achieved by other terminals of the region, which do not exceed 100 units unloaded per hour.
