ACT also reported a sharp rise in transit containerised cargo movements, which reached a new record of 7,521 TEU, accounting for 16 per cent of total import containers — up from 6 per cent a year earlier. The terminal additionally recorded growth in road haulage operations, with 36,145 trucks handled during the month, compared to 27,703 in September 2024.
The record-breaking performance highlights ACT’s role as Jordan’s primary trans-shipment hub and key logistics hub for regional Levant trade.
