CHEC wins contract for new container port in Qatar

The work includes construction of the container wharf, the general cargo wharf and naval forces wharf, amongst others. Total length of the quays will be close to 8km and more than 6,500 cubic metres of sand and stones need to be excavated as part of the works. Construction of the new port will take about 4.5 years.
