Tender – Port of Cork needs hydrographic services

Under the proposed contract the Port of Cork intends to carry out hydrographic surveys to determine the bed levels in the fairway and berths in both the upper and lower harbour areas and to carry out any other surveys that may be required from time to time.

The surveys are primarily required for the following purposes: 1) monitoring of bed levels; 2) assessment of dredging requirements and the calculation of quantities post dredging campaign; 3) check that depths have been achieved after dredging (post dredge surveys); 4) navigational safety
