Tender – Modernisation of ports in the Philippines

The VTMS project is estimated to cost around Php 1 billion and will be installed at numerous ports including Iloilo, Davao, Zamboanga and Romblon. The system will also monitor the port environment. To bring some of the ports up-to-date it is also planning to increase capacity by expanding piers, lenghtening berths and increase back-up areas. Part of the plans is also to construct modern passenger terminals and the associated procurement of safety and security equipment.
