NOATUM moves headquarters to Valencia

Doug Schultz, NOATUM CEO, stated: “Valencia is the natural container gateway to Spain’s largest market, Madrid, and our terminal there represents a very significant part of our business portfolio and our organisation’s structure.  It is also the Spanish base of many of our customers and accommodates an important maritime community. We plan to develop NOATUM into a strong international port and maritime company.  Therefore we need to focus the functions of our headquarters team on leading the businesses within the portfolio.  We are a ports and maritime company and we should be based in such a community, close to our major business units. From our new base in Valencia, we can lead all our present and future investments, and give much greater support to our terminals in Santander, Bilbao, Barcelona, Sagunto, and Malaga, and sharing the best practices and synergies that this group will develop.”
