Maritza East Mines (Mini Maritza Iztok EAD) intends to use the proceeds of the grants provided by the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund (the “KIDSF”) towards the cost of the design, manufacture, supply, construction and commissioning of bucket-wheel excavators of the SRs 2000 type and the SRs-200 type.
The overall budget of the project is EUR 30 million – 50% to be financed by KIDSF. The procurement of the contract is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2015.
The contract implementation period is expected to be approximately 36 calendar months, followed by a Defects Notification Period.
Tenderers from the following eligible countries as of 1 February 2015: the EU member states, Switzerland and the EBRD’s countries of operation. All goods and services must also originate from an eligible country.
