Tillotson began his career as a military civilian logistician on the U.S. West Coast, handling RORO, breakbulk, bulk, hazardous material and containers for stevedoring, warehousing, trucking and railroad operations. His extensive stevedoring background included positions in operations, sales and business development.
In his new position, Tillotson will act as a key resource in the identification and execution of business development opportunities for Metro Ports on the East Coast, U.S. Gulf and certain key national accounts. Duties include working across the Metro organization to facilitate the identification and marketing of business opportunities, and the ultimate execution of transactions to build East Coast profit centers and other geographic areas. He reports to Metro Ports President James Dillman.
