Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) is introducing a weekly direct service between India's Nhava Sheva port and China

The company will be deploying three 2000-TEU capacity container ships for the new service, expecting to handle 100,000 TEU annually on this route. “We are also considering introduction of direct services connecting India with the US and Europe. We are also eying the Vallarpadam terminal (for a new service). We see Asia as a major market for our business growth,” said Masakazu Yakushiji, MOL’s Vice-Chairman.
