DP World recently said goodbye to its oldest crane at Brisbane

Inver Engineering began deconstructing crane six in mid-August, taking approximately three weeks to complete the demolition. The 1980 Mitsubishi Panamax crane was not being used by DP World as it was too small to accommodate the larger vessels now arriving at the port. DP World has future plans to build a bigger crane in its place, which will have the ability to service the larger ships.
