Complex lifting tasks made easy in Italy

Liebherr Maritime Cranes, Germany, has dispatched four mobile harbour cranes to Italy. Delivering performance for Italy’s diverse port landscape – two electrically driven LHM 550 cranes head to IPM Bari, Italy, while La Nuova Meccanica Navale adds an LHM 420 to the fleet and an electric LHM 420 will be heading to Interporto Rivers Venezia. The deliveries will support the local ship repair sector, high‑volume grain discharge in Bari, and bulk and scrap operations in Porto Marghera.

Konecranes signs five-year service agreement with OPCSA

Operaciones Portuarias Canarias SA (OPCSA), a subsidiary of Terminal Investment Limited (TiL) Group, has signed a five-year service deal with Konecranes Port Services effective from November 2025. The full-scope agreement includes preventive and corrective maintenance as well as 24/7 on-call support for the terminal’s growing fleet of both Konecranes and non-Konecranes equipment.

Subic Bay International Terminals Corp. (SBICT) and ICTSI Subic Inc. (ISI), subsidiaries of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), have secured a 25-year extension of their respective concession agreements with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) for the continued operation and management of New Container Terminals 1 and 2 (NCT-1 and NCT-2).
