Sweden-based Fogmaker International AB has announced the launch of a section valve, which offers targeted fire suppression for vehicles with several critical compartments. Traditionally, a fire suppression system can handle only one deployment zone with one piston accumulator. The section valve will be able to handle up to four different deployment zones with the same piston accumulator.

Alabama Port Authority selects Konecranes RTGs for new intermodal terminal

The Alabama Port Authority has ordered two Konecranes Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes for its new intermodal facility – the Montgomery Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) – in Montgomery, Alabama. The order was booked in the third quarter 2025 and delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter 2026.
