DP World Mundra welcomes new Container Cranes and electric RGTs

DP World has expanded the capabilities at Mundra International Container Terminal (MICT) in Gujarat, India, with the arrival of a new state-of-the-art Container Crane and three new electric Rubber-Tyre Gantry Cranes (e-RTGs).  Together, the investments enhance Mundra’s ability to handle the next generation of container vessels while advancing the terminal’s sustainability journey.

German Ports launches three-phase plan for digital release procedure

The digital release procedure for container imports will begin operation on the German Ports IT platform under the name Secure Release Order (SRO) on the 1st October 2025. The introduction will take place in three stages. The platform operators DAKOSY AG and dbh Logistics IT AG are thus demonstrating the importance and scope of this centralised digitalisation solution and minimising the risks for all companies involved.

Konecranes receives order from OPCSA for 8 RTGs

Konecranes has received an order from Operaciones Portuarias Canarias SA (OPCSA), a Til terminal, for eight hybrid Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes for container handling at its terminal in the Port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The delivery is estimated for the second quarter 2026.

Indonesia-based Adaro Logistics successfully commissions a new E-Crane

Belgium-based E-Crane is proud to announce the successful commissioning of a new 1800C Series model EH14317 PD-E for PT Adaro Logistics installed in Kelanis, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The new E-Crane is installed on the coal transfer jetty known as B2B2, located on the Barito River in Kelanis. The crane will operate to transfer coal from 4000 DWT feeder barges to 15000 DWT mother barges, streamlining Adaro’s transloading process and significantly increasing throughput capacity.
